Believe you'll be able to do a change of vehical. Insurance company is the one to ask though! ____________________ TheShaggyDA: I've got 3 or 4 pairs that predate my wife, so at least 11.5 years old. |

Your policy has ended mate.
As soon as you made a claim.
That's usually the way it goes. I guess it depends on who it goes through though or who was to blame.
If it wasn't you, then yes, you can change vehicle most of the times (depends on company) but you will usually pay a minimum £20 admin fee. |

Was going say, from previous posts it didn't sound like it was his fault, so he should be in a position as if he hadn't claimed at all, so I think he'll be able to continue with it?

If its written off and you claim on your own insurance they pay out and cancel the policy ( you have to send in policy docs, MOT and V5) so you would need to take out a new policy.
If you claim off a third party then you just amend details pay admin fee and any additional permium due on new bike.
Not to sure if you claim off your insurance for repair work think the policy still runs until expirey date ____________________ not just any short of winnah... But a Sahf East Winnah
