Bad luck mate anyway, give the MZ Riders Club an email and ask them if they'll put a free add in for you to keep their eyes out!

Statistically the MZ is the least stolen bike.

I'm just fucking up the stats! Who the hell would want that bike!

I rekon police will find it burnt out in a field.

On my way to uni I go down this path and there's 2 burnt out peds, and police only recently took a burnt out car away.

(I checked there).

It was easy to steal yes.

I don't think the hotwiring is /THAT/ easy, the electrics on that bike are shocking. The XJ was easier to hotwire.

Gaz, I've emailed the editor of MZ Rider, who is gonna put his feelers out for you. And see if anyone knows of its whereabouts, as theres quite a big MZ Community in the Bristol and Avon areas.

But as you say it was probably stolen by kids as a field bike! Confused

Thanks mate, appreciate it.

It's H699 BMC, but as I said, I entirely expect it's now a field bike, or something MZ shaped will be found burnt out in a field.

I can't find teh V5 at the moment, so the police don't actually have the frame/chassis number.

That sucks Neutral Hope it turns up, I was going to suggest that path behind Lockleaze school, seen a fair few burnt out vehicles on it myself. Confused

The theiving chavs are too thick - they tried it on my scooter, and burned the vacuum hose on the carb rather than the fuel line. Needless to say it didn't catch...

Yeah, checked behind locklease school, did you see the car there recently? that was impressive they got it across that ditch!!

Not a huge loss, I am TPFT, but have a 300quid excess. I'd rather have a 300 quid policy left than like a tenner from a claim.

First thing any thief does is remove the number plate, and most bizzies won't have the foggiest where to look for a VIN.
