throtle sticking and driving me crazy

i changed the grips on my rxs 100 today and the throttle keeps sticking...its not rubbing on the metal twisty thing...when i take the top off the throttle it works fine but when i put it on it dosent want to work

try giving everythign a lube up.

try twisting the throle control around a bit

try re routing the cable.

try attachin it to a peice of wood and holding it in your teeth, works for me, but seriouslt, i changed my grips and they were fatter in diameter and it affected throtle control

Take the bar end off first and see if it works OK without it fitted. Could just be the new grips are fractionally longer and jamming between the weight and the throttle housing which would also explain why it's OK when you've taken the top off the housing as that would relieve the friction as well.
If it is that then stick a washer or two on the inside of the bar end to stop it clamping up too close to the throttle rubber.

Take off the throttle assembly and give the handlebar a clean up with some emory tape, that sorted the probelm out on my NS125F
