I dont's deserve this, im a good lad
I work my ass off all year round, enjoy what time i get on the bike. Come home just now for lunch, to find a letter from the old bill saying that i was seen on a dual carriageway doing 52mph in a 40mph.

I mean wtf!! i know im in the wrong and all but with such stupid limits to these roads i may aswell go back to a pedal bike.

Money's real tight at the moment aswell and i could really do without all this with christmas coming up.

This was on sunday 13/11/05 on my way back from helping chris (soulrider) get use to his new rs125.
Lifes a bitch somethimes eh?

the usual answer is that you shouldn't have been speeding. nag over!
know what you mean some speed limits are fecking stupid, and it seems unfair considering what other criminals there are out there. TBH i don't know how i have still got no points, just fecking lucky, or speed in the right places or there is a massive back log waiting for me somewhere!
lifes unfair sometimes as its not exactly like you where doing rediculus speeds! though depends majorly on what the surounding area was like

The police have to serve the NIP (notice of intended prossecution) within 14 days or they cant really proceed. This is unless you are not the registered owner and they were trying to find out who the user of the bike was.

VTR thats the form i got. Have to fill some bits in and send it off.

The road i got caught was outside the stevenage borough football club, big long road and there are no houses near it! Just i thought i was going as fast as the cars... in fact i know that if i was going faster i would of had my brain scanning for the buggers as its stevenage's hotpoint for mobile van cams and the like.

Im on a restricted license with a 33bhp cough cough er yea. I won't bother going against their case. I was in the wrong blah blah.

Worst thing i ever had happen to me was when i took my bike to the jobcenter, and as i came out i saw 2 dirty great bike anchors on the wheels, cost me 80 pound on the spot when i had no job! That was a terrible day.

Next year i hope to start doing trackdays, lots of the threads here make me want to do it even more now. Only true way i can have my freedom and see how shit i actually am

Corona, If you did not get the NiP within 14 days than it is not valid. They can't do you. It's not arguing it. The law says they must serve the NiP within 14 days and if they don't they cant proceed.

You have a simple way out. Send them a letter explaining that you only just had it and thet it'sover a month. Easy.

Have you read the MCN, speed cameras have never been tested on bikes which means they may not be accurate, read this weeks MCN (page 17)or last weeks.
you might get the case adjurned if not thrown out, good luck

As long as it entertains some mugs, MCN will happily print anything. There might be some element of truth, but until it's proven by a somewhat more trustworthy source, nothing will change.
