Have you had the tank up recently to top up the two stoke oil?

You may have inadvertantly kinked the fuel line. Its easy to see If you have, just lift the tank follow the pipe from the fuel tap to the carb. Make sure it's not kinked and watch it closely as you lower the tank.

Have you left your Choke out. you should only realy have the choke out for a wee while! then back in with a few revs and off you pop!

Let me know your whole procedure on starting your bike! Need ever little detail. ( even if you have a luck scratch of the arse i need to know that to ( kidden ) )

Stu Thumbs Up

set the pilot screw at 2 1/2 turn undo , then adjust your idle screw at 1400 rpm after warming when the choke is off . normally when you start on choke the idle can go up to 2500-3000 rpm , then go down progressively very low as your engine seems stuffing , put a bit of acceleration with your handle and take off the choke , maintain that 1 minute and then let it down , your idle must be 1400 rpm , if it's too low do a bit your idle screw until 1400 rpm (1500 is good) . if the problem remain : clean tank tap , carb , air filter foam and put a new plug (BR9ECS are bull shit , fit BR9EIX) . but the best at the same time cleaning upjet 138,42,65 (main, slow, power) .

Sounds like you're flooding it Thumbs Up

With the NSR, you only need the choke out half-way just to get the bike started.

Then stick your helmet and gloves on and go!

Has this problem suddenly started?

Sounds like it could be a blocked pilot jet, run some redex through the bike or better still remove the carb and give it all a good clean. The choke may also be sticking slightly.
