Yeh, they were like giving out invitations to like all (more or less those who subscribed their details to them when they were doing their competitions).

I guess HG don't really need a fully functioning site as most of their trade is down to people actually visiting the showrooms and trying on stuff for themselves.

Just got back from the Edinburgh branch (very helpful they were) and purchased...

Maxwell WP II pants : Sale price £89.99 (from £139) and
Oxford Patriot disc lock : Sale Price £24.99 (from £39.99)
Also got an additional 5% off this evening only (and a pie!!!).

There is quite a bit of stuff on sale and overall seems quite good. Over and above what Titz mention there is Oxford luggage also on sal. Strangely I dont think any of the leathers are on sale, if they are I must have missed the red sales triangle labels. If you do need something you will probably find something in the sale to satisfy you (your wife/husband may say otherwise).

Hi,

I popped into the sheffield branch to day to see what the offers were and was disappointed.

Most stuff is not, I did not look at the boots but did here someone told there is A pair in the sale.

Some jackets, no helmets that I saw a few summer gloves a pair of winterish gloves that did not look very special etc.

Given the advertising I expected something better.
