Picked it up from the garage on Friday, all repaired after the accident, and I didn't pay a penny towards it Razz All it's missing is one sticker off the blue nose, and that's coming next week.

Thought she deserved a day out at the seaside after being in the wars lately.. Laughing

Seeing as the insurance co. are paying for a new lid, I thought I'd pimp my old one up a bit Laughing It's all scratched under the stickers anyway from the accident, so I thought the stickers, although looking ugly, would at least hide them. And they do. Just the outline of the bike stickers.

yea getting your license is good, make sure you go for it, having no L-plates (legally) is better than anything you can do to a 125cc!

yep Thumbs Up I'm going to spend a bit of time getting it looking nice, because I'm keeping it for at least two years, but not going to do anything technical to it, because it's running pretty sweet as it is Smile

Can't wait to burn the L plates Laughing

Cheers,
Jon

Laughing I put it on the stand, went to get off it, and it started to sink. Had to prop the bike up with my leg, and reach into the river to get a big stone to put under the stand.

It was rather close to going in Laughing

The black tube is all scuffed (didn't replace it with the rest Confused Dunno why), so it has to have a sticker over it. I have some BCF ones that I did, but they're too big - hope to cut out some smaller ones on the stika machine when I next get chance.

The lid is buggered anyway, it's got big scuffs up one side, but I'm having a new one out of the insurance soon Wink Thumbs Up

Cheers,
Jon

I would say that is probably the best paint scheme for the NSR, really does look fab! You've certainly looked after it, looking well smart! Although I see you also have a set of the dreaded Pirelli MT's! I have the MT65's on the RD and they are total bollocks! How do you find yours?

IMO you went a bit OTT with the tyre pen, personally I think you have filled in too much, I have just filled in the Pirelli MT65 bits on mine, not to in your face, but its your bike you do what you like! Thumbs Up

Thanks for all the kind comments, makes my day reading them. Kath, that 600 is lovely, maybe when my 2 years restriction is up I could consider one Laughing The Honda blue tank colours looks good IMO.

Josh, the Pirellis are soldiering on, although the back one is very bald at the minute... can't think how that could have happened... Embarassed Wink They're grippy enough, but I have had a few slips and slides, and it'll spin up on a junction if I give it too much pulling away (a start with it in the powervalve is pretty dodgy in this weather). Hoping to try some Bridgestones next, because I think they're meant to be pretty good. Getting some R&G's first though!

I tyre pen all my bikes, everything on the tyre I can do I'll paint. I actually did the NSR's in a couple of free periods in college, because I was so bored. I did it with a paintwork touch up pen that I bought to colour some stone chips on my tail unit, but it has stayed on the tyres very well!

Cheers,
Jon
