Yes....its a sad thing to see but argos are selling 50cc and 125cc scooters?? whats the point in buying a bike if you aint tried it.....

....they are selling helmets too!!??!

I remember seeing Tomos mopeds in the Kay's catalogue, late 70's early 80's maybe.

I brought my bike without trying it ,they don't like to let a nice showroom bike be ridden by any tom dick or harry on the road !

It's not a "new" thing in some ways. Before the world wide web, I remember when I was a kid some of the bigger home shopping catalogues sold small scooters, and motorbikes.

Things like "KAYS". In those days I think they also sold shotguns. Shocked

My brother tried to convince me to buy one from there, 'because they're new'. Rolling Eyes I knew bugger-all back then, thank God they were ugly.

They aren't overpriced though, they're about the same as most eBay Chinese scooters, and much less than a dealer would charge. Still heaps though.
