It's not a "new" thing in some ways. Before the world wide web, I remember when I was a kid some of the bigger home shopping catalogues sold small scooters, and motorbikes.

Things like "KAYS". In those days I think they also sold shotguns.

My brother tried to convince me to buy one from there, 'because they're new'. I knew bugger-all back then, thank God they were ugly.

They aren't overpriced though, they're about the same as most eBay Chinese scooters, and much less than a dealer would charge. Still heaps though.
