It's not exactly hard work or taxing is? Takes all of 30 seconds Confused

What pisses me off more is having to wash the crap of my bike after every ride in this weather. Was out in the dark at 5.30 this evening after having to do 90ish miles today trying to clean the bike not being able to see what I'm doing.

Think I might have to put the old girl away for the winter.... Neutral

true though but i do like to make sure mines spotless...and it does get very very dirty with all the shit that gets kicked up from the road.

wonder if it'll make a difference when i start commuting via motorways instead of back roads?

Dont like it when it rains and your constantly having to wipe the back of your hand over you visor whilst riding, apart from that it's ok.

I've heard about them, but never tried them.

Apparently, you 'stick' a chunk of about 10 of them on the front of your visor. Then, when it gets dirty, you simply peel off the outer one and chuck it into the road !

Oh, gosh, no. Bikers with these peel-off visor coatings are now to be branded 'litter louts' Shocked

Yeh.

Then, when you've got a leg full of nine of them, take them home, wash them all and stick them back on to the one remaining one on your visor Laughing

Hey, good idea. Never thought of that Thumbs Up

Don't even wash my visor.

Just rub it clean with my mucky glove whenever required.

Do hose down the bike everyday now though.

I must be odd since I just squint when my visor gets dirty until it's REALLY dirty and haven't washed the bike down in about 3 months. I find the rain does it adequately.

Fine until you ride something like a CG125 with a glow worm for a headlamp, then you can see f-all in the dark, and when a car is oncoming, you can't see anything at all. Confused

REF : the people who posted saying about the gloves with the window wiper bit on it. Where'd you get them from, and how much were they. Sound like a good idea to me. Cheers.
