I’ve seen some that choose to do this. I just think, “I guess it’s safer”
And it is, the high way code doesn’t say, do it, they just know you can, always be on you guard.
I am too impatient. ____________________ Cleverly disguised as a responsible adult.

I que every now and then. Usually when I am knackered and I am not 100% sure that I can manage the bike through the cars without taking a wing mirror off.
Or when I think its not totally safe. Got this junction near me where cars alway suddenly pulling into other lanes. I just sit in the que not to risk it.
Better to be safe than sorry me thinks.

Most of the time, unless i was on the wrong side of the road to turn off at the end. (if you know what i mean)
When i went out for a test ride on the ZXR got to the top of my road, and it was at a standstill going the way i wanted to go, so i nipped down the middle, first time filtering, first time on the bike, and it felt great!  ____________________ || Past: 1991 Kawasaki ZXR 250 ~ 2003 Honda CBR 600 F Sport ~ 2004 Kawasaki ZX6R B1H 636 ~ 1999 Yamaha R1 ~ 1999 Kawasaki ZX6R J ~ 2004 Kawasaki ZX6R B1H 636 ~ 1998 Honda VTR1000F Firestorm ~ K1 GSXR 600 Track bike ~ K6 GSXR 1000 ~ 2006 Speed Triple 1050 || Current: 2005 R1 https://www.adrucore.co.uk |

i would say filtering is the worst, unless it's fast overtaking ____________________ FS1E -> SR125 -> CB400N -> CB650 -> FZR600 Genises -> VFR400 NC21 -> CBR900RR Fireblade -> Renault Clio 1.4 |

After 2 years of biking, I bought a car. I was out one day with Dam_buster and I went to filter.
Dam_buster shit himself. I was confused. Then I realised I was in a car!
Used to filter all the time on the bikes though. Kept to a reasonable speed (10 - 15mph max) |

Being a newbie on 2 wheels I am a little "worried" about filtering at the moment. Hope this will change in time.
Having said that I did filter past a load of cars waiting at a level crossing the other day - no traffic coming the other way though.
I am quite happy to sit in a Q though. Years of training driving cages. |

hahahaha lmao
I always filter to the front of the ques i prefer to have nobody in front of me so if i ever get rear ended by some cunt who forgets there car is in gear and drops the clutch ive got a space to fall into and not get squished against the car in front |

I sometimes will the traffic lights to turn red so that I can stop for a break, adjust mirrors, stretch arms etc. Not that it ever works, so when a queue presents itself I take the opportunity. I am impatient though, and 90% of the time I filter to the front. ____________________ https://www.bikepics.com/members/fuzzbcf/

Yes, depending on how late I am and how tired I am. At 6 o'clock in the middle of winter coming back from work I just cannae be arsed a lot of the time. If I'm really late and the traffic is stationary, I'll be going round the left and right and crossing lanes to make progress if I have to. I never filter along the line past anything with a space in the lane next to it, I take the space in the next lane. At least then I have some leeway when they decide they want to switch lanes.
You have to have a certain level of confidence in your ability to think about filtering in the first place. If you've not been riding very long anyway, you're probably thinking more about not making any stupid mistakes. It's mostly learners (yes that can include people who have passed their test) or people not in a hurry who don't filter. I have tended to get into the habit of filtering whether I need to or not, because sitting still in traffic can get really very frustrating. I don't think driving a car would make me the least stressed out person on the road. ____________________ I must not be a troll...

I've only started to filter recently, just never had the balls to do it. I don't live in a city so there's not really a big need to do it. ____________________ Go back to bed - You have no rights - "Streetfighters ~ Mainstream motorcycling's crackwhore sister." |

99 % i'll filter and i actually quite enjoy it!
i focus my attention on the cars much more as to not be caught out and make myself get noticed as much as poss.
if other bikers want to queue then thats cool but i like the fact that on a bike you don't have to sit in traffic and i make the most of it.
i have a couple of mates who aren't confident in filtering but are happy to follow my lead and i take it easy, thats how i learned ____________________ Seven days without laughter......... makes one weak. |
