Oxford hot grips.

Has anyone fitted these things before? Either to a GSXR or SV? What's the deal with the throttle grip side? The hotgrip is smooth inside but the throttle grip isn't. The only way I can see to get it on is to butcher the white plastic body on my handle bar. That can't be right, can it??? Question

Hi

You might have to cut away the bit at the end. The ridges on the throttle tube are to stop the grip turning on it, but you glue the hot grips in place anyway so that should not be a problem.

Yep. However being glued in place they are unlikely to come off without doing damage anyway.

hi ive just fitted some on my bandit and had to cut down that ring of plastic at the front as they do not fit over it once thats done it will be a bit hard do get it over the rest of the throttle but if you hit the end of the grips with a rubber mallet(not to hard) they go on perfect oh and remember to check first how you want the wire to go as one you've got it on there there a bugger to remove ..
