Bought myself some Christams presents for the bike Smile

https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v619/baldgit/CIMG0880.jpg

Fitted a Kawasaki tinted DB screen. The old one was fine for wind protection but when on the bike the top of it cut right across the clocks meaning I either had to sit bolt upright or duck right down to see my revs/speed.

https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v619/baldgit/CIMG0879.jpg

Put on a genuine Kwak seat cowl. Tart factor mainly but I think it looks better. It's rare that I take pillions, but can be put back in 1 minute.

https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v619/baldgit/CIMG0878.jpg

Put on a Pyramid hugger. The bike doesn't come with a hugger as standard meaning the rear shock and whole underside gets covered in crap so a bit of an essential really. I don't think Kawasaki actually make a hugger for this bike Confused Also took the pillion pegs off. No need for them and can be easily put back on in 1 minute. On my old RR you had to take the seat unit off to do this which was a pain in the arse.

https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v619/baldgit/CIMG0877.jpg

The most essential bits - R&Gs! This is a pic of the left side one which you can see needs the fairing cut for it to be fitted. I think I did an excellent job Or rather I took it to a dealer to fit

https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v619/baldgit/CIMG0874.jpg

The finished bike

https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v619/baldgit/CIMG0876.jpg

Now I just need to do the stainless brake lines and possibly a steering damper.

Yeah, do need to check that, although won't be doing much riding with the weather like this.

Going2fast, where did you get your Powercommander from? Been thinking about getting one for myself. Ebay I think has some good deals.

That "crack" is just a reflection. The dealer actually did a really good job cutting the hole for the crash bung - it was definately worth paying the ££ to get him to do it.

As for the car under the cover..... well that would be telling Wink

Its most likey his parents (who have a massive house) Laughing

The dealers probley have a jig for drilling the crash bung holes which are getting very commom on new bikes, its best to pay for the dealer to do it any way just incase you do mess up the fairing. Embarassed

Definately worth cutting the fairings for. The fairings are just clothes - protecting the frame/bike is important.

As for the car....

Not mine obviously, it's my old man's - he's too old to take up bikes Wink
