The Honda NS125R runs a PHBH 26mm carb as standard, i have added a allspeed full system and a k&N. The NSR125 runs a PHBH 28mm carb, if i was to put the 28mm carb onto the NS would it blow the rings or would it just run better.

Thanks

Adam

It may help, a larger carb is normally required when a larger exhaust and better filter are fitted. Have you not changed the jetting yet? Fit the larger carb, and then jet it to suit, i'm sure it won't hurt. Worst it can do is make your bike a bit rich, at which point just refit the 26mm Dell orto, then bung a large jet in it.

I'm sure there's at least a handfull of people on here who can help you with specifice, but my only advice to you is suck it and see...

I'd go for the 32 or 34mm versions if i was after a power increase.

Hi

Might well help, but might well take a while to get the jetting acceptable.

All the best

Keith
