Very Happy Thumbs Up

Mechanically sound, and then some. My bikes are restored to full working order as well as their tidy condition. Added a few tweaks here and there - which actually surprised the RVF's next owner on his ride home Confused . The chap who bought it (some part of me wonders why I ever let it go) lives 30 odd miles away and said he was going to add it to his collection. Hope to see it again some time in the spring.

I think I'd reached showroom condition by around April, but wasn't content with that, so out came the Autosol.

Like the Blade is becoming, the RVF was a constant evolution of restored, polished and modified components. I won't be wet'n'drying the Blade's frame though Neutral .

Very Happy

Haven't cleaned the KL yet Embarassed

My SP2/Firestorm callipers have been fitted, didn't get a chance to bleed the system though. No photos yet though, apart from this artist's impression:

https://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y51/whers84/bladesp2callipers.jpg

Ohlins shock returned from Kais, as did some Ohlins fork springs and oil. Won't be fitted for a week or two though.

Oh, nearly forgot - got my first batch of Meguairs, works wonders with the new micro fibres.

Thanks - does classic bike entitlement start at 15 years - if so, next year the Blade should hopefully be legible.

Can't see many of the recent work when the bike is viewed as a whole Neutral (lucky, cleaning under the rear tail unit is so blatently obvious though)

https://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y51/whers84/DSC00096.jpg

I thought classic entitlement was 25 years? or is that just for cars?

rediculously tidy bike Thumbs Up bordering on obsessive compulsive cleaning habits there Very Happy

I thought it was 15 years for bikes - not to worry, insurance is a lot cheaper than I thought when I first had the idea of getting the Blade (in fact, it made getting one become a reality).

OCD - maybe a little; well, polishing the insides of the heel plates was maybe a little extreme - but would want to show the soon-to-be-fitted Ohlins off from every angle Neutral
