I've seen it done with a centre stand but I don't have one Sad I've tried but struggle like F'k with the weight and backing it out of the garage is a right pain, downhill, gravel, sand shit etc etc.

Is it poss on a side stand ? HOW ?

Make sure the sidestand is well planted on a solid surface. Put your foot on the stand, grab the left clipon or handle bar and pull it towards you. This should lift the rear wheel off the ground, and at the same time by pulling the left side of the bar will turn the bike around.

Like that, but I always found it easier to grab the right clip on and pull it towards you then spin round...

Make sure you put your foot behind the sidestand so that it doesn't fold up as you'd then end up on the floor with your bike on top of you hehehehe

There is a little thing you can buy for £60 that sits under the rear wheel (it's a small square of metal with castors underneath) called a TAIL SWINGER.

Or for £140 you could buy a LAZEY PARKER (scroll halfway down the page).

Both appear to do exacly what you want.

If you did have a centre stand, there would also be the DRIVEWAY MAT at £50.

I could do it on my old rs50 and my cbr4, not about strength, more about technique.

I've never tried this with anything heavier than my old NSR. I'm sure the side stand can take the weight...but what if it doesn't. Confused

Easy to do, I have done it on my fueled up 1150gs that makes a VFR look a lightweight! Its all in the way you do it, you can make it even simpler if you put an old 'metal' jam jar lid under the sidestand. Wink

I do it alot on my cbr6, thought i was going to drop it the first time but then i saw someone do it on a busa so it is all in the technique or alternatively back it into your garage ie don't park downhill Laughing

Those tail swingers are really good ! Thumbs Up
I use mine all the time getting the nc30 around from the back of the house.
They say to sit on the bike to use it,but i push the bike on to it and grab the foot peg and pull !
Take a bit of getting use to, esp if your not on the bike as it can slip sideways Shocked ... allmost happened !!
