As the title. Can you fit an SV shock to an NSR? Reason I'm asking is there is a cheap SV shock going on ebay and it looks almost identical to the 2000 NSR shock.

if you need a new shock for the SV get a zx636r one as i dont really like the SV standard one, much better (so im told, havnt fitted one yet)

not sure if there the same but diffent engine size and manufacturers makes it unluckly (this is just a guess though. dont quote me on it!! )

Yes you can use a ZX636R shock on the SV. Get a B1H shock though, as the reservoir is mounted in a better position. You'll have to move the battery on its side though, and relocate the fusebox.

It's an NSR shock I'm after, and was wondering if the SV shock could be fitted instead.

I'm actually watching this one already, but I don't want to pay alot of money for it. I got one from ebay for £10 and although it's good condition, it doesn't fit. I'd rather fit an SV shock if it is possible.

the nsr has a special shock (showa) which is unique , the price shown on the uk one is cheap (as new , it's more than £200) , if it's in good condition a price £40 is a good bargain , 20h auction with no bid , i think you can have it for less . i suggest you bid on it and see
