I know someone, years ago when sarting out at DIY maintainance who topped up the brake fluid, and was adamant it was fine. problem is, they simply removed the reservoir cap and poured it in.. didn't know to remove the rubber expansion seal... they jad just filled that lol
and no.. it wasn;t me

If you've just had the front end in the air you won't need to bleed the brakes in the conventional sense - air doesn't travel well down hill.
As said, you probably just exposed the the hole that the piston forces the fluid down. With the bike back on the level the air will migrate back to the top of the hose and be sat there waiting for the next time you squeeze the lever - then it'll bubble back into the reservoir and you'll get your brakes back  |
