Re- Jetting

Just got a new can on my bike, which is restricted to 33bhp, do i need to get it re jetted, and if so will i then have to get it re jetted again after i take the restrictors out??

Check your spark plugs to see if it's running lean or not. If it is, get it jetted.

I wouldn't think a restricted bike would be running lean. It might need up jetting when derestricted, but with only an end can, it's unlikey.

Hi

In theory you probably do. Checking plugs on a 4 stroke will not go you much (just tells you the mixture on the "throttle position" you were last using, but with CV carbs the throttle position and the mixture are not really 100% dependent on each other).

Mine lost 40bhp with 'just an end can' but mine is not restricted so wouldn't know but if your in any doudt get it on a dyno

Changing the can on a restricted bike should not make a lot of difference, but be sure your restriction paperwork does not specify the end can used. When the restrictors are out I would advise checking the set up on a Dyno just to prevent engine damage, above all don't change the jets unless you can have it properly set up, you are liable to mess up the performance unless you get it set up.
