Tell you what mike.

Lets jsut skip forward until it's a week before you emigrate to NZ. A week to go. And the sv hasn't sold yet. Your only option is likely to be sell it to the dealer down the road for £1k.

Then I jump in, offer £1.2k and you take the offer there and then.

When can I pick her up? Very Happy

I looked when I was there last year, can't say I saw anything there that was more expensive than here.

Hang on while I go pay 50% less for fuel . . .

Speed is an issue I agree, with a 100kmph (62mph) limit. But for the sake of 8mph I think I'll take my chances.

And 50% less for nice homes with nice views and I'm naturally guessing much better weather. Laughing Thumbs Up

Did you have to get a job secured before you got accepted mike? Like the thought of NZ myself.

Thanks a lot, Mike.

Seriously cant wait to get out on the bike this weekend. Passed its MOT no problem yesterday and got the insurance sorted, £355 TPFT which aint bad at all. Will be getting it Taxed in the morning then its off for a mission, hopefully weather will be half decent as I'd like to pop into Northallerton, Thirsk and maybe through to Helmsley.

Anyhow, I'm really happy with it, will take good care of her. Very Happy

Oh yeah, if you ever fancy pillionage to The Comet, you're more than welcome. Thumbs Up

The fireblade is my Dads, I use it every so often, but pretty much banned myself after a top speed run down a local dual carriageway. Tut Tut

The bike is ideal for what I need, hence why I bought it. Only issue I have with the bike is the front end, the forks are so soft it makes cornering quite a challenge. Will get that sorted ASAP though. Smile

Yea when i got mine just easing off the throttle made my bady go forward due to softness of forks and dipping

Luckly mines got pre-load adjuster (K2 onwards have them) and made a lot of difference, most SVers put 15W oil in and get better springs (ohlins, few other companies i cant think of)

Have fun with it, they sound so nice Thumbs Up Cool
