My New Bike!

Well, last sunday i invested in a cagiva planet 125 in very good condition (dry usage only) and with only 6000 miles on the clock for £900. Very Happy

Today, i bought insurance and my god that feels quick when you've only ridden a 50 and a CG125!

It's a really nice ride, too. The front end is basically a ducati monster with a HUGE disk and Brembo 4-pot. One of the previous owners binned it in the wet thanks to that razor of a front brake, it's really a bit too much for the bike. The ride is superb though, little dive under braking, road imperfections don't even think about disturbing my sensitive little derierre(sp?), and the bike still feels responsive and confidence inspiring!

The engine isn't the smoothest at the high end, but the ammount of torque in the mid range suprised me for a 2-stroke, i expected it to be a lot more of a bumble bee.

Absolute corker of a machine! Best £900 i have ever spent TO BE HONEST, IT'S THE ONLY TIME I'VE SPENT £900 IN ONE GO

There's loads of good roads. I like riding through crank, over billinge hill, through upholland down lees lane. Its a really good route for a 125. Used to do it on mine all the time

a mate of mine once went to look at one of these, he didnt like the gap under the tank! but nice bike all the same.

i think what jacks getting it is that the last owner was dry usage only, so its been well looked after by them

if we are talking dodgey sidestands, add hyosung bikes in 2! my comet 125 stand way too tall, if u dont get the sand down perfect the bike will just fall str8 over!

I would put the standard barends back in, to try to solve it, but they aren't anywhere near as tarty as anodised ones Razz

I've got a black TL With remus GP cans. Loud as fcuk. And a bog stock, blue and white gixer 6. I've got the TL in my mates barn so doubt you'll see it until spring.
