You'll never pick up something good which is a supersport rep for £600. With a bit of hunting, you could pick up a tatty DT125, they're lovely bikes, nice styling (trails) and they've got a superb reputation for reliability, considering they're 2 stroke.
But me, I'd say for £600, go for a CG. SO practical, and they've got some element of grunt. And you could pick up a newish, clean example for £600.
Why does your uncle say a CG from the '70s? The new ones are better than those, they've upgraded the brakes among many other things, plus the mileage, reliability and condition will be much better. |

Sorry to anyone with a cg but after a good nights sleep i think they are not the bike for me (even the newer one)

He thinks they looked better and i kind of agree with him
I have looked around for ages and decided that i want something that looks like an intruder 125 https://www.reviewcentre.com/info-61309.html I have seen loads of makes i have never heard of selling similar styles quite cheap. e.g https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/chopper-cruiser-125-looks-like-a-400-may-px-anything_W0QQitemZ4606324504QQcategoryZ424QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem A bit over budget but it was only 4 months old

Might be wrong but can you not buy a bigger capacity bike and get it restricted?Gives u better balance an engine that wont wimp out and a hell of a lot more street cred. Also would allow u to keep same bike once you pass test. |
