Just been to Hein Gericke, and apparently I'm far too big for my CG...

Anyone reckon its worth selling the CG and getting another 125? I'm about 6'1" but have extremely long legs :/

What bikes would you suggest?

Who told you that?

If it's comfortable and serves it's purpose then why change it?

Although, like Andy said, passing your test and getting onto a bigger bike would be a good idea.

I learnt to ride on a Suzuki DR125 SE, bought the bike from a chap who was 6'3" and the bike suited him fine (can adjust the rear shock quite high).
The bike has served me well and have now graduated to a fireblade so its your lucky day Wink.
I know of a really good DR125 for sale 7800 miles £1100, bargain.

If your not ready for your test then get a honda varadero if you feel the cg's to small for you. There designed for people like you, they also a 1000cc one

Funny you should say that. I had to test ride a Husky SM125 a few months back. I sat on it and the rear wheel hit the exhaust. I rode it and the wheel hit the mudguard. I'm only 15 stone.

If you must get a 125, I'd say a Varadero, they are ma-hoosive. Nice looking things as well, in my opinion.

But honestly I'd say just put up with it until your test rolls around. Thumbs Up

Hi,

Getting really pissed off with it, I can't clamp the tank with my thighs, used the fuel tap on the move, etc...

I will keep it until I pass my test, Unless I sell the bike to fund said test.

Regards,

Toby

PS: Thanks for the input everyone.
