riding to belfast for uni in jan/feb always left my fingers in agony, so much so i had to get my mates to take off my lid and gloves when i got there lol
heated grips by oxford, well good investment. ____________________ My Bikes - - - Royal Enfield 500 with sidecar, VFR800, CBR600FX,

Know the feeling well, where you're nearly in tears from the discomfort!! God forbid someone emergency braked infront of me when I'm like that, I wouldn't stand a chance.
Funnily enough, my £40 gloves were crap taking me from hull - glasgow in december, stopping all the time. The 360 miles from wolverhampton to Glasgow the other week was fine despite it being baltic cold. And that was using £20 gloves. Go figure. |

I just did 80 miles in the rain and i can safely say that i've NEVER been so cold in all my life.
I only had my summer gloves on and they are definatly not waterproof!
Then to make matters worse, i got home to find i was locked out and had to get a ladder and climb in through the window |

Hi,
Another vote for the oxfrod hot grips. They even work in the snow, but eveything else was cold.
I also use the 2 fingered gloves which seam warmer.
Regards

I've just been using £25 gloves off ebay. Not the best at keeping your hands warm but if it's really bad stopping to heat them on the exhaust for a few minutes helps a good bit.
Lucky I've only got a 12 mile commute. Couldn't imagine doing much more without better gloves. ____________________ Go back to bed - You have no rights - "Streetfighters ~ Mainstream motorcycling's crackwhore sister." |

The Heine-Gericke 3 finger gloves are pretty good, but still don't solve the problem. Heated grips and bar muffs together are the way to go, just I don't feel like forking out £50+ for the lot. ____________________ I must not be a troll...
