VFR800 shouldn't be too hard to fix - parts are readily available.

The only faults I can see is a rather nasty collision with the Greek God Zeus, who was non too pleased by the look of things Smile

Seriously, what kind of impact would do this amount of damage?

i really cant see the rider coming out of that one, unless it hit a (very solid) car/van and went over the bonnet and slid the rest of the way.

You'd be surprised how little impact can do that much damage.

Not panned in much further than our XS500 which went into the side of a Ford Escort at approx 28mph, or Fallen Angel's GPZ500 when she was knocked off at a similar or possibly lower speed back in October. I'll see if I can find some pics of either.

i would have said that got hit side on by something large (lorry?), If it hit something head on, the Rad and parts would go in, not to the right.

What's wrong with it, apart from that scuff on the side panel?

I don't think the parts did go to the right. The radiator on the VFR is located on the side, not on the front. It looks like it has tucked back toward the frame at the front, like it has been squashed from the front.

There might be a small ground clearance issue with that exhaust though. Could make it a stubby

Front ender, one of my Aprilia's looked worse than that at around 35-40mph. I took the handle bars with me when I went over the top and a good deal of the bike was picked up with a shovel and broom.

Girl in a Metro did a right hand turn in front of me so I stopped quite suddenly. Wink

I didn't get any photo's of that bike (didn't have it long enough), it would be quite interesting to see it again.

If anyone's seen the episode of family guy where they demolish the toy factory? Ya know the factory is completely demolished, and the sign outside just falls over for effect.

I think that's what happened with this exhaust on this, it felt left out and just fell off.

Laughing There's about 4 salvagable parts there;

Exhaust
Seat unit
Wheel (without closer inspection)
And brake light unit

It looks like the crash has farked the rear suspension as well, how the hell it did that I'll never know. Laughing But I looks to me as if they got hit diagonally head on, from the left. At, say, 50mph.
