Smaller plate - where from?

I've just fitted a R&G tail tidy (the original plastic tail unit on the zx is huuge), and despite using long stem indicators the 9x7 legal plate just covers the corners of the indi's.

Seeing as the number plate also has holes in it from the original mounting, plus the new holes I drilled messed up the backing a little, I'm going to get a new plate made up.

Now, I'm not really a fan a show plates, so I'm looking for a 8x6 plate, to be made to look as legal as possible.

Can anyone recommend any online stores?

Is 8x7 likely to draw any unwanted attention from the fuzz?

Am I likely to get one that looks legal, just an inch smaller ie. thin black border, with number-plate manufacturer details at bottom centre?

If you get one that is smaller than legal your not going to get plate manufacturers details as you would on a legal one unless you know someone prepared to stitch themselves up for making dodgy plates.

I just ordered an 8x6" with a black border with 'Kawasaki Motorcycles UK' for a slogan. From www.showplate.com for £13.50 inc. postage.

Hopefully it will look as legal as posible

Just to update, the plate came this morning and is a top job.

Quality service and quick delivery, always worth mentioning in my book.

Despite being 8x6, it actually looks quite a bit smaller.
