TEKNIC clothing

Was just wondering if anyone had ever heard of TEKNIC jackets.
Ive jsut got one off ebay but i cant find it anywhere or anything about them Rolling Eyes

Been searching for past 2 hours an all i can find is american sites with jackets at 500$ Shocked

this is the jacket i have got if anyone knows the name style of it i would be gratefull.Or any reviews on them

i have an old teknic one piece racing leather (maybe 80's or earlier)

even though its really the wrong size for me, its probably the best made bike wear I have

id trust the brand cos of the thing i have

thanks colin ,as i said the american prices are stupid hundreds i thought this may be cheap or maybe i struck a bargain .woohoo being fat does have advantages no 1 wants the clothing Razz

the jacket in the add says it has back plate arms an shoulders so it cant be bad for £25

I picked up a Teknic textile jacket at the Stafford Bike show a few years back for £35. I've had no problems with it at all and still wear it over winter. Thumbs Up

Teknic is a good brand still got my tecknic boots from 2 years ago a bit scuffed but still strong.

Yeah the tecknic jackets are well expensive out here. But there solid jackets.

Having had a serious accident in my Teknic gear last May, I got up and walked away with very little injury, considering.

My jacket is still wearable, although the trousers were ruined.

I e-mailed Teknic to compliment them on the quality, but unwittingly I had actually e-mailed the American customer services. They forwarded my e-mail to UK customer services, who telephoned me to make sure that I was alright.

They then replaced £350 worth of gear for £100.

I for one cannot recommend Teknic highly enough!

Ok wel ljacket is got helmet also.Ive now spotted some TEKNIC boots on ebay think there next with some gloves.

Wonder if some of you can help me out.Im about 17 18 stone an cant find anything that will protect me legs.Mainly its my knees i worry about as after an old accedent i allmost lost my leg from my knee it was ripped open an i smashed the knee cap.

I was looking at jeans etc but i feel pepople will take the piss.As its only a NSR 125 an heres me in full armour ?.

should i jsut buy some knee pads ? put them under my joggers.Cues of my size i normaly where tracksuit bottoms as finding jeans is pretty hard .If any one has an idead i would be realy gratefull

i have a teknic winter jacket and is very good, looks rubbish but keeps me warm and dry!!!

still have salt and muck from the M4 when i went to Bristol wearing it Crying or Very sad

It is top kit, but not that common. John Reynolds wears it.

I have their basic £400 1 piece leather suit, and the build is top notch. On a trip down the road last year, it survived without damage. It was very scuffed, but none of the stitching went through and I still have 100% confidence in it.

In the uk they don't seem to do budget stuff, neither top-shelf (£700+) either. Which is probably why they don't get noticed much. It's good quality middle of the road kit.

Ive read that TEKNIC clothing is designed by a younge brit ? i cant remember who tho.I did also read that a uk race rider was sponsored by them an his sposed to be pretty good rider ?

well thanks every one seems no one had anything bad to say it must be good.

Doesnt it make you wonder tho,Not one person said anything bad but its not very well known in the uk an not very cheap either.
Wonder why they have'nt made it more popular here as it seems people would buy it an swear by it

I've got Teknic textile jacket - it's bloody brilliant. Mesh and armour very cool in the summer, even in the summer heat waves we had last year. Zip on waterproof outer is warm in the winter - I use it every day commuting to work.

Highly recommend their kit.
