Showing off the TZR

Well seing as it was sunny yesterday I decided to wash the TZR, About the 5th one this year (Im obsessive).

Anyways today I got home and after going to get back on it to go out I realised the tyre was flat and that I had got a puncture Evil or Very Mad

After a minute of searching I found the culprit. I great big nail, fucking thing! This tyre is brand new literally just done about 300m and it looks like a replacement is in order Crying or Very sad

By the way, Does anyone know of some good places to get sand blasting and powder coating done as both of the wheels need doing as you can see...

Also are there any tricks to removing the stick from the fuel tank as when i jet washed it , it took some of the label off but it wont take the whole thing off so its now looking messy.

Try using a hairdryer on the sticker and scraping it off. That's how I got the stickers off the swingarm on my last bike.

Get as much of the sticker of with a hair dryer and picking at it, when you only have the glue residue left spray on some Mr.Sheen or other good polish that contains silicone and leave it over night then buff up in the morning.

Be carefull how long you leave it on your paint job though as i have never done this to black paint work but i wouldnt think it does any harm.

warm it with a hair dryer and it should soften and peel off, then remove the glue thats left behind with some meths or anything alcohol based.
try a test patch somewhere first to make sure it doesnt remove the paint! and dont forget to wax the spot afterwards.
