Always gone with ebuyer. Good prices and good service. Some people don't like them, but I've always found them to be the best.
You could also try dabs and insight ____________________ https://www.bikepics.com/members/fuzzbcf/

I've heard savastore.com spoken highly of. They do basic systems (see here). I have used ebuyer ok (but I still don't like their delivery policy).
However, I do know that Komplett.co.uk do upgrade bundles which sounds just the thing you're looking for - see here.

I gotta agree with ebay. I was after either a Radeon 9700 or 9800 pro, and they go for quite a decent price on ebay, between £50-£70. I was always outbid though, but then instigator sold me his 9800 pro for £40 Top graphics card, even for todays standards. ____________________ https://www.bikepics.com/members/fuzzbcf/

Is watford electronics, and are reuptedly very good indeed. They let you configure each detail of your system and you dont' have to have stuff like Monitor etc.
I'm planning to go there when I next buy a computer!

I don't want to upgrade mine, done that before, its just too old now for it to be cost-effective.
I do intend to nick some pieces from it though, such as the DVD drive.
I like Dells but I've never found an option to ditch the monitor on their site?
Will check out all links later on - thanks chaps. |

Go for a Dell business PC, they don't come with Monitors usually. |

Gone for a Dell Outlet job in the end - Dells that get scratched or dented during build.
I bought via their ebay shop and got it for less than half the price of a mint condition machine of same spec.
Delivery in 8 - 10. Will let you know how it turns out. |

Just as an off-topic aside, I've been building PC's for people for 8 years or so now, and started off using MSI motherboards, as the cheap shop I bought from sold a lot fo them.
The boards (about 10 in total) fairly consistently all fucked up within 2/3 years and had to be replaced. I'll never touch an MSI board again throgh choice.
Just my experience.
Bendy, will be curious to see how "damaged" the PC actually is. I'd be tempted by a half-price dell if it's just superfical scratches. ____________________ - Yeah, you know the type, loud as a motorbike, wouldn't bust a grape in a fruit fight.

Bought all our computers from https://www.aria.co.uk/ for the past few years now. Can't recommend them strongly enough. The one time they got it wrong they organised the pick-up and gave me a free upgrade as well.
