Well, very strange request but basically my mum has very sensitive small hands, so has to have special alergy free gloves for washing up which has never been a problem as all the major supermarkets sell them....well did Rolling Eyes

None of the supermarkets, chemists or anywhere shes tried do the small anymore just medium and large which are way to big.

She rang the manufacturer and they were suprised and confirmed they still make them in small and send a free pair.

heres a pic
https://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d20/andy13_uk/PICT0077.jpg

Manufacturer = Marigold
Model of gloves = Futura
size = Small 6.5 (i have no idea what this number relates to but if you look at the pic its next to "small size")

Anyone find these on the net?? of course karma to anyone that can!!!

All the sites refer to 'medium'. I've got small hands, too and my local Waitrose only stored medium in any style, so I asked them to order me a few pairs of their own brand sensitive ones in small. A few days later got a call to say they've got the three pairs I wanted for me. Might be worth your while to check if any of your local supermarkets would care to order them for you. Even if they're not on their order book as an item, a phone call to the central depot should suffice. Alternatively, check your local chemists, as a lot of the sites that seemed to have them (in medium) were chemists.

Would the manufacturer not know who they've been selling them to, so you could contact those stores?

I believe they still sell them in STAX trade centres but the fact you have to spend a min of £50 and you also need to be registered as a trader doesn't help you much.

Sorry my mistake, she ask the chemist (refered to by manufacturer as best bet) and she ask to order a dozen so it was worth them ordering them in and they said fine, no problem

She got a call later that day and said there wholesaler doesnt have any Shocked

ill tell her to do the same as supermarket, Thumbs Up

Buy her a dishwasher if you have the space? The cost of gloves over a year will prob add up to the same amount. Laughing
