It's not too hard to derestrict it.

There will be a throttle stop which will be located under the tank in the cable mechanism somewhere, a quick poking around and you should be able to find it easy enough. There'll be 4 washers under the airbox area as well if it's anything like how they restricted my FI gixxer.

Enjoy it! Thumbs Up

Cool. Thumbs Up What model/year is it and did you get a good price on it? Got mine last June and its still f*cking amazing everytime I take the beast out. When I first picked it up though and rode it home it took a bit of getting used to with the weight as I normally use the 125.

It has a throttle stop and 4 washers in the throttle bodies. With the washers out and the stop on it will do 140mph. With both it will hit its top speed. It is a pain in the ass as you have to disconnect wires when you get there and after getting past the fuel injection bit you will find what are pretty much carbs. They are actually the throttle bodies and removing the top half you will find said washers.

Do it ASAP as restricted FI bikes seem to guzzle a lot! cost me around £20 to do a 120 mile stint on the RR!

P.S: Stop getting 6's like I used to have peeps, makes me want to buy a new one!

So buy a new one! And then just sell the RR on if you ever get it back, go on, you know you want to Wink
