Indicator doesnt flash, it just stays on!

My indicator just stays on it doesnt flash. both sides light up but dont flash its weird!

My bike is a 55 plate YBR 125.

Any ideas?

Oh thanks loads guys for info about the gear lever its been adjusted now! Laughing

If all the bulbs are ok then it'll be the 'flasher unit' its either faulty or your battery is a bit low on voltage, try reving the bike a bit to see if they flash (reving the engine will raise the battery voltage). If not then you'll have to get a new flasher unit, not sure where it'll be on your bike but presume it's near the battery/fuses etc. It shouldn't be too expensive.

A chap told me its the relay?

Only had bike 6 months done 230 miles. Should this have gone so quick? Is it a warrenty job?

most prob is a relay, mine didnt whant 2 flash so i changed the regulator (the relay is inside the regulator on my bike) and it works, i would take it back 2 the shop u bought if from and tell them 2 replace it under warrenty, coz for my bad spelling

if you have not replace a bulb , this is the relay , otherwise check bulbs power (wrong wattage)

took it to the dealer, apparently i had water in the relay? he said he shook it water came out, tried it again it worked?

Weird!! I dont think I have driven in the rain in ages, fair weather rider me!

Maybe it's what you use to wash the bike.
The water must have got in from somewhere, pressure washer or hose just at the wrong spot.
Tou could also do with maybe a small squirt of WD40 into the relay connection to get rid of the rest of the water.

Yes you should lube your chain. I think the guide is roughly every 2-300 miles but get used to putting it on often. even more if you've been out in wet weather.

I had this problem with my RS, and found it was as simple as a loose wire to one of the indicators. Check that Thumbs Up
