Just noticed this! Interesting. Guess it's a rival to the z750, hornet etc.

Hmm....looks good too (if not very similar to a hornet)

Really not a fan of the front indicators though!

Dent that panel and I bet it'll cost an arm and a leg to replace.

Would still take the 05 hornet in bright orange. Loverly.

Similar is the very word, I would have said more like the Fz6 or even the new kawasaki ER-6n, but either way its not very 'Suzukish' if you know what I mean. Still its a nice looking street bike that judging by it's chosen powerplant (gsxr-600 engine) will go well to Thumbs Up

Agree with the indicators, I'd be concerned about their viewability as well, although I'm sure they researched that thoroughly. Neutral

Quite like it, but not at all keen on the swingarm, that is tubby!

Well I've got one to test and it's pretty cool, but my plan is to bring it back as close to the B-King as I can, so uprated suspension and shock, maybe the 45mm throttle bodies off the original GSX-R600k4 engine, rather than the smaller 38mm standard fitment.

Ideally I'd like to fit some USD forks, maybe some wind protection too. Perhaps up the sprocket on the back for better accelleration, definitely a full race system as it's too quiet. Apart from that, some flatter Renthal bars.

I am thinking what'd happen if i got a supercharger.......hmm but that's just silly, surely?

Not quite the Suzuki Burger King expected, but looks okay enough. Looks more 'together' than the Hornet, with a nice attention to design (rear unit looks tidy with rear lights/exhausts), plus a sensibly tuned GSXR engine (you listening Yamaha?)

If I was in the market, I'd definately consider one.

From what i`ve read, i think its going to replace the bandit 650. Can you imagine when they replace the Bandit 12, with a 'retuned' engine from a GSXR-1000? That could be something to wait for . . .

No, that's just the problem. ok, so in the 600 class, which is aimed at beginners aswell as experienced riders, retuning to make it softer is a good thing, but in the 1 litre class why do all the Jap manufacturers insist on retuning the engines when bringing out a naked bike... if they left them as standard..i.e. a naked bike with an untuned 1000 engine it direct from it's sportsbike countapart it would sell by the bucket load. Good example's being aprillia's Tuano and BMW's 1200s. Instead we are left with the new fazer...the new cbf1000..... even the z1000 was tuned. Now if that had the very same engine as the zx10r, air induction the lot, when initially released. You can even now years after it's release picture the sales.

Nice looking bike IMO. Not quite as aggressive as the B-King, but still pretty good, and as others have said with a detuned GSX-R6 lump in it should go pretty well too.

Take it the engine mods and performance bits are given at a much reduced cost or even a free lend in exchange for publicity in the magazine?

thats the one, yep. They get to have half a page dedicated to their product complete with free advert, whereas normally it'd cost thousands. everybody's happy.

Anyone here work with superchargers? I want to have a chat with someone about them...
