Hi all
As some may know, I bought a Monster 600 a few weeks ago... but it's sat in the garage. Why? My current insurer (AXA via Motorcycle Direct) refused to cover it, stating that they just don't do Ducatis. Not only that, but the best replacement policythey could do (with Highway Direct I think) was ~£350 (compared to ~£220 for the Bandit, despite it being newer, more valuable and in a higher insurance group!) Since I am only 5 weeks from collecting my second year of no claims I can't afford to cancel the existing policy so I'm just going to have to sit it out until my renewal comes through and I can start a new policy elsewhere.
Does anyone else have experience of this sort of thing and can anyone point me in the direction of insurers who look kindly upon Ducatis? ____________________ Monster m600
