Hi, just wondered how many times people have come off I have come off three times in eight years. Which i dont think is too bad. Once on ice around a corner, once on snow when i pulled the front brake like an idiot and once coming up to an island and hit a patch of oil or diesel and went skidding out in to the middle of the road (this was my worst one , was three years ago and my knee still hurts from time to time ). Have also ran in to the back of a car and a white van man Let us know your tales |

Never come off in seven yrs of daily travel to work and back. (5,432,563 close encounters... )
Been hit twice (once by pedestrian (ran into path )and once by car (hit and run )but stayed on bike both times.
Came off twice on the track though (overcooked it once, and leaky coolant second time). ____________________ aKa: Ducky |

Can’t remember exactly to many times, without counting the trial riding ones with the CRM. My wife calls me a crash dummy. Fortunately haven’t come off with the CBR 600 yet. |

haha yestersday on the first day of my das! bout 15mph, mounted the kerb on the outside of a roundabout and took their learner 125 offroad because I hesitated at a turnoff after getting confused. Instructor did say "come off" as in come off the roundabout. Just I took a different approach Soon as I realised what a twat I was for trying to change direction at the last second it was too late!
Lucky myself nor the bike was damaged..

Never been off yet - but saying that I've only been riding for less than a year, and don't have many miles behind me yet....
Had a bit of a heart stopping moment a few years ago when trying to help a mate wheel his new bike indoors.... I wasn't used to handling bikes at the time, but basically I almost dropped his new VRod less than a week after he got it ____________________ 1st bike (Sept'06 - May'10) : 1991 GPZ500S / Current bike (since Nov 2009) : 2003 Suzuki Bandit 600N

I refuse to answer the poll, as it would be tempting fate.
I have never come of YET, *Touch wood" and in that last sentance yet is the key word.
I have nearly overcooked it once or twice through sheer hooligan style riding but not come off yet.
However I did drop my brand spanking new VL Intruder during the CBT in the car park, i was gutted. My brand new VL with no miles on it and latest reg plate out attached and I go and throw it down the car park. *DOH* is this classed as a crash?? ____________________ Suzuki VL Intruder 125cc - September 2004 to July 2005

Not yet, though I've only done about 1500 miles on a bike. Did get hit by a car though after about 200 miles, but managed not to part company with the bike - hit from behind at a roundabout, think it was my first, and only, wheelie ____________________ Current bike: Kawasaki Z750S |

Erm, slightly limited options.
I reckon getting on for maybe 40-50 times on the road. More if you count on track.
A bit over 8 years riding.
Dirt riding doesn't count because you're /meant/ to crash!
Not quite up to Rossi's standards, but do like to play at racing (on the track, that is, I hasten to add ). |

I haven't had a crash or drop (yet) in about four years and maybe 5,000 miles, but that's because I'm a wuss I suppose you make your own luck to a certain extent though. ____________________ Monster m600
