has never ridden anything more than a 50cc scootay,
He's just asked me to shot him how to ride Lexy, his check is cleared and she's paid for even if he does crash her into a wall.
But what are the things I need to remeber to point out?
Gears
Kill switch,
chain adjustment,
2t oil top up
spark plug.
anything you lot can think of other than the above?
quick responses required as he's only coming from tuther side of coventry.
Thanks
Simple
Is it too late to say I want to keep her? ____________________ Insta - FemFeral |

Prtect yourself against the scam of not sending off the form and you getting lumbered with speeding and parking tickets etc.
Get proof of his address, preferably his driving licence.
Print out two copies of a receipt with the reg no on it. Both of you sign it and date and time it. If you want - even take a pic of it with your camera phone.
If he quibbles tell him you went through a spped camera yesterday and it's to protect him.

no u can ride a geared or auto on a cbt, rideing a geared bike is easy, well i whent from a 50auto> 125 auto> 50 manual been out on it like 3 times> 125 manual. i mean as long as he can putt the clutch back ans get the correct bite like clutch and throttel he will be fine. might stall it a few hundred times but o well |

He's gone, I'm not riding what he's bought and paid for, I'm more likely to crash than he is!
but I watched him leave (road is long and straight) he wobbled into a bus stop, stretched his legs, much to my amusement.
Then rode along the bus lane, through some red lights...
I couldnt watch anymore,
he's got his mate following him and he was properly kitted up (jacket gloves lid) no L plates on, but it's his license.
She's gone garage looks empty...
so what shall I buy next?
I fell all weird, never sold a bike before
After he got used to the clutch and idea of gears he was okay, he's more confident on it than I was moving it round the yard to ide it up and down the drive.
Yes method, the NSR has brakes, pretty good ones too
no receipt of sale, but He's paid by cheque which has cleared.
I checked his license and number all was correct.
I have the V5 and watched him fill out the suplement, I will send off the V5 as soon as dad gets home and signs it as it's in his name.
Ooo I miss Lexy already
I love the smell of 2t..it's an addiction
Cheers for your help guys and gals

I didn't say a 2006 model .
There was someone selling a taxed/mot'd 99 EC250 which needed the bottom end bearing do if I remember - bloke reckoned a dealer would charge about £100 to do it - he wanted £800.
I was quite sad to see my 350 Enduro go - I paid £450 and got a load of use out of it, then sold it for £435 - only major problem I sold it with was the rear brake needing a decent service. |
