Got totally fed up being pulled relentlessly Crying or Very sad on the GSXR
So opted for a change to a Custom
So heres my VZ800 Marauder
So far ive added custom mirrors, saddlle bags & toolkit,
Staraight through drag pipes, sissy bar and emblem, tank graphic,indicators covers, spotlights etc etc

Big change there from sports to custum.

The custums on the market never look hard enough, I think the leather accessories don't help the cause Embarassed Panniers would look shite, so Thumbs Up

Is it strange to ride with feet forward instead of behind?

I doubt it !
Only put them on about 400 miles ago
Highway Hawk Drag Pipes
They go "Blued" as there only the single
wall type nothing to do with been ragged

It rides nice hell of a change from my gsxr but a lot more pleasureable not been chased by the plod. had to change my style of riding completely but getting used to it, you have to let her warm up for a few minutes v-twin dont do cold starts Smile since putting on the drag pipes its made a gorgeous deep growl but fuel consumption is down. The standard seat is pants and does ya back in so that had to go and i put a custom gel saddle on in its place ( see photo )
All in all i quite pleased with her

It took a lot of getting used to
Having said that i still sometimes still go to put feet up

I,d of loved to of kept the Gixxer but being pulled 8 times in a few weeks started to P**S me of somewhat, lets face it as race bike without being raced is a waste of time ( didn,t want to keep it just for trackdays ) Last time we ( The 3 Gixxer Boys ) were pulled for doing 160+ But mr nice plod didn,t get us on camera and gave us a severe ticking off and let us go Shocked " Couldn,t Believe It " So the gixxer boys were no more as my 2 mates went track day only and the other sold it and i couldnt keep it and poodle about so alas it had to go. I,m now 42 so i thought Cruiser is the way to go now, dont get the adrenalin rush but its a bike and still feels good !
