Hi all I have an RSV Mille and have noticed that when I pull the clutch in the rear wheel still spins round rather than completely stop. Thus suggesting that the clutch is not disengaging fully is this common on bikes or do I have to adjust something?
Cheers

I assume this is when the bikes rear wheel is off the ground?

Although I'm not too sure on the Mille's.

Usually their are two sets of adjusters to check, one is by the clutch lever, and the other is usually down by where the clutch cable disappears into the engine cover.

Just adjust the cable a little bit at a time. Be careful though not to adjust it so much that the clutch starts slipping.

Have you changed the oil recently? I noticed when I changed my R6 from fully synthetic oil to semi-synthetic oil I noticed the rear wheel would spin slowly with the clutch disengaged (and in neutral), just put this down to fluid drag.

Hi there thanks for the input. The mille is hydraulic controlled so there is no cable......at least I think not lol. I've just bled the system and cleaned the oil out and its still spinning quite quickly.

Mine does this too and I put it down to fluid drag. If the wheel is stationary and off the ground it won't spin with the clutch in...but if you start it moving it won't stop. There's enough force to keep it going but not enough to overcome it's inertia. Wouldn't worry about it so long as it's not turning on the ground Thumbs Up

I would have said this is fairly normal? Confused I haven't had the Cat on a paddock stand yet, but I remember on the centre stand, the (automatic) ped's rear wheel would always spin slowly. Never gave it a 2nd glance! Embarassed Laughing
