er...you'll find it's pretty heavy if your weaklin, otherwise it's pretty good, nice to have a fairing aswell and err...well hope you like it, i sometimes do when the cityfly is off the roads or i'm bored of it (not often) Had 75 a couple times on the dials
Make sure it's in Silver too, looks alright in that colour, also check the stickers haven't crinkled up, that's the problem we have with ours although it's only a year old and 230 miles on it
that reminds me, i still need to re-adjust the carb thing to see if it stops stalling, I need to keep the thing on some revs when i come to junctions and such or the revs will just crash to the floor:-P ____________________ Too Fast For Even The Plod To Keep Up With |

I saw one in Portslade the other week, a silver one, I thought it was a 600 or somin until it got nearer and I saw the engine and heard it. It's quite and rather than a thump you get a loud 'rattle' but yeah it don't sound or look bad for a 125, but if you're old enough I'd say get something bigger. |

Yeah they sound really quiet (at least with standard can on). A mate of mine had one but he decided it wasn't really what he wanted as it wasnt fast enough. In the end he bought a KTM 125EXC and made it road legal (ish, ignore the knobbly tyres, 30bhp illegal can etc). The KTM lasted about 3months of road use before it went 'bang' though.
On the plus side, the Varadero looks bigger than it really is, is reliable and apparently comfy. ____________________ "Unlike public school you don't need to have your arse up and your head down to go a long way...." |
