My uncle's got one on his car, but that's about it. I'd never have one, for the odd reason that if I really pissed someone off, a personal number plate would be easier for them to remember Laughing

Is yours a really personal one? Like J03 B10GG5, or just one of those 12345 JOE ones?

Yeah, mine ends 567 S. It's not personalised of course, but the 567 makes it too easy to remember. Shocked

My car one ends in GBM - my initials. Not private though. My bike ends in PUV, which is, well, nothing. Laughing I wouldn't mind a plate which ended with CAT, but I know the first thing I think when I see a private plate is 'tosser'. Not because they have a private plate, but because tossers are invariably drawn to private plates. So if I got it, it would have to be a 'proper' one, with the **## prefix.

Not always, I'll be putting a private plate on my bike shortly but as a favour to my father in law. He's bought a couple of plates for when he retires and returns to the uk in a couple of years. At the mo he doesn't own any cars over there (uk) and I believe he has to pay a certain amount every year (a retainer?) to keep them. So my wife has one on her car and I'm putting one on the ZXR. Going from 7 digits on the existing reg to 5 on the new, I make it smaller plate o'clock Smile Thumbs Up

I've always wondered what people get out of private plates? Does it make you feel cool? Clever? Rich? :/ Fuck knows what goes on in their heads...

I don't mind private plates at all. But I don't like plates where people have to doctor the fonts, layout or fixtures of the plate in order to make it appear different.

Such as a screw placed between two I 's in order to make it appear as a letter H.

I just think it looks a bit tacky.

That's a valid point. At least real ones serve their purpose which is basically being flashy and showing people you have a lot of money.

The ones that are normal dvla issue ones bodged to look like like a word/name completely defy the point.

Wicked, He is usually out a lot on cruises. He is a bit of a ginger cunt though cause he always boasts that no matter what day it is, he is guaranteed hot pussy on the passenger seat.

I reckon he is a giggilo though, mate to afford that number plate he must be charging!
