I just got a quote from ebike insurance and it made me laughin a good way. heres the run down.

Age: 21
4 years ncb
No convictions or claims or points on my licence

2002 Honda CBR 600 F Sport (datatool system 3 alarm, smartwater, oxford disc lock)

2002 Honda NSR 125 R (datatool system 3 alarm, oxford disc lock)

1985 Suzuki GS 125 (oxford disc lock)

2001 Honda CBR 1100 XX (datatool system 3 alarm, smartwater, oxford disc lock)

Third part fire and theft insurance quote for all 4 on one policy

£587.84

Not bad in my oppinion, the reason i did this was so i could see how ridiculous the price would be to insure all the bikes in my house, (no cbr 600 yet though).

Just wondering if anyone else had had a silly price come back like that.

Lexham insurance is the best in my opinion. It's quite hard to get a quote but when you do its good.

£200 cheaper than ebike on an NSR for me! (£412 instead of £600ish)

ram_doom and chris_biker, try express insurance they are pretty cheap.

Also have u considered an advanced course, the discount on insurance is quite considerable.

They are only compeditive for small cc bikes. My RS was £210 TPO (which was very good at 17) but when i asked to change it to SV650s they wanted £2000+c Shocked

Conclusive proof that hotdog is the owner of a walk in (and now also walk out of) closet.

Besides that, found express insurance to be quite competetive, will try speaking over the phone to see if it can be cheaper still... Wink

Internet quotes are shit you can bring your quotes down by nearly £1000 by ringing around.
