I know if i were to be looking at buying my bike it might seem a bit dodgey. Some people just prefer to keep the bikes, and not ride them too much. There could also be other explinations, wouldent be the first time ive heard about someone putting a bike into storage and forgetting about it or dying. Or the classic of the person who runs into financial problems and puts it into storage, and eventually has to bring it back out and sell it. Just lucky i guess. On the other hand, my speedo drive failed a short while ago, therefore its stopped recording milage gained, but due to the high maintainence i give the bike, you would never know. ____________________ Will work for petrol

Doesn't seem like an amazingly good price to me, so it wouldn't immediately ring any alarm bells.
Warning bells would only be ringing 'cos I think the Storm is particularly slow/bland for a litre class sports twin - but then when it was first sold it was massively hyped as a sports bike rather than more of a commuter. |

more of a comfy tourer than a commuter methinks - VTR SP1 is the sports model matey.
Well I bought it and have it insured. My first Bike, will be a canny allrounder |

I've often thought about getting a VTR next. I do love the V-twin - the IL4 bikes I have ridden just didn't seem to have that je nais c'est quoi I get from the SV. I've also considered the SV thou (I've heard too many bad things about the TLS) but I loved the VFR800. Possibly because it might be the perfect combination of IL4-V-twin (or maybe the ST is ) but mostly, I think, because it fits my needs almost spot-on.
Let me know how you get on with it, I'm very interested to hear your opinions. ____________________ https://www.bikepics.com/members/fuzzbcf/

Came from a dealer somewhere/

Serviced and stamp in a service record book - but book is a little book from a local servicing garage, not a Honda dealership supplied book.

So as with all service histories possibly fake.

claimed mileage 2960. bike is absolutley immaculate - looks new.

As above
Yes its alleged to be UK spec. Ask them to prove it. Its not.

local dealer selling bike has a good shop and long established - he only sells V.clean low milers.

Resprays and new clocks?

opinions sought.
cheers |
Sending a bike across a border cleans its history. Personally imported UK spec? bollocks. |

its not odd , warricks is selling a firestorm for a little under 3K , with less than 1.9K on the clocks , 01 reg , it was more but its been there a while cus everybody gets scared of the insurance.
Though selling to Warricks is a bad thing hes a tight git and gives you sod all for anything you wanna sell him. ____________________ Spain 2008France 2007Big one 2009 We all die.
