Chances are its cooked on and will be almost impossible to get off now. I THINK you could try petrol (when the exhaust is cold), but i'd confirm this with someone more wise than me, as it could destroy the finish on the metal (i know it destroys paint). ____________________ Will work for petrol

i had some of the mrs boot sole boiled onto my can, some thinners, and some fine grade wire wool got it off in no time, dont be too rough with it, as it can leave light scratches.
