https://www.bikechatforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=82857 for fuel. Basically I got 33mpg from my first tank, mostly city riding. People at work told me their car does that, but I know which I'd rather be running.

I cant be bike specific but my GSXR600 (33bhp) pulls about 103 indicated top speed (well it doesn't at the moment :'() the 0-60 I have never actually timed but for one I'll tell you I have yet to be beaten to it by anything around town with four wheels, and most of the sunday sports bikers can't do it faster than me either, it's usually the streetfighters or the motards that show me up Embarassed
So you are probably looking at slightly under 100 top speed and still a fairly rapid 0-60.

I'm 20 now (was 19ish when I got it) my last years insurance came in just over £900, I've heard people have similair sized bikes at around £700 insurance but I couldn't get mine under £900, and hell yes, 125s have very little on me (well every 125 I've ever come up against) and oh yes the sound is amazing Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

I suppose I might as well mooch on in.

I have a restricted Suzuki Bandit 600 S Faired version K4. (2004)

It pulls to 60 in about 4 seconds at a guess Confused maybe a bit quicker. I've had mine at about 110 MPH on the track.

Insurance wise, I'm 18 years old and I have 2 years NCB and I am paying £220 TPFT. Smile

i rode a restricted bandit for about 2 months, it was ok but im not sure i could have coped with it for 2 years. I suppose I was used to having more power and it probably felt like more of a restriction. If you really feel you want to keep within the law then i think a bandit is really not a bad way to go. It did 100 and was a hell of alot quicker than a 125, sounded good and looked the part.

When I bought my Bandit 6 (2004 model) it was restricted and was a complete dog to ride compared too when it was full power.

I got about 110 restricted (downhill mind) and fuel consumption was excellent in restricted form.

In full power form my ZX6R seems to be better on fuel.

I put this down too as to go the same speed your not working the ZX6R where as the bandit you would be.

I've got 2 months left before I can legally remove my restrictors, served 5 months on a restricted GS500E and the rest on the GSXR600K4, I'm a good boy see (or maybe just a pansy Razz)

It'll be slower than 4secs restricted, I expect a full power one is _around_ 4secs.

Restrictions are funny, they feel perfectly fine.....Until the day you derestrict it then you realise just how bad it was.

Bandit should be ok restricted tho, It's got more low down grunt than a sports 600.
