It has been recommended I get a rear hugger for the Kwak because the shock will eventually rot or something (common fault), do I take it, all huggers for bikes are after market and not supplied by the manufacturer?
How hard/easy are they to fit, does it require taking many things off?
Thanks

Some bikes come with them as standard, but if they don't it's unlikely the manufacturer makes one.
I put a Powerbronze hugger on my bike, and I was well impressed with it. Preferred it to the ones I've seen from Ermax, Pyramid and Skidmarx.
Here is the thread I posted just after I fitted mine (with pics). ____________________ Current bike: Kawasaki Z750S |

I would NEVER recommend 'SKIDMARX' to anyone again!!
3 different huggers i had, none of which fit and ALL were of very poor finish. I then had to wait 7 weeks for my money back
N.W.S. or Pyramid plastics i would recommend...... NWS is better but slightly more expensive.
The ABS plastic ones are stronger than fibreglass and the finish is generally better. |
