WTF was that?

For safety's sake obviously.

Thats really not right, thats like us putting bollards in the road that we can ride around and they crash into... Twisted Evil

Would be a good idea if I didn't have to drive for my job, lol!

Bikers are generally some of the best people I've ever met and I don't see why people have such a problem. GRRR!! Evil or Very Mad

it appears that somebody has put that sign up with the "threat" of cheese wire stretched across the road in the aim to slow bikers down
didn't see it myself but came from another bike forum

But thats rediculous, and anyway what about all the mad boy racers in their cages, they are often as bad if not worse in my experience.

Would imagine if the cops could catch the culprit they could be done for the threat alone. Probably a local homeowner so it shouldn't take too much to track down who put the sign up, sick bastids.

time to get me a screen me thinks a tall one,

anyway its a threat to kill people , since its premeditated it can equate to murder.

anyway a bike going slow can probably take your head off , my recent ding was at about 18MPH and it still bloody hurt even with armoured pads all over.

Even if it were true, the first car/van driving down the road would snap it...

I find that people who aren't involved in something, see other people who are involved in it and who get along with eachother for the most part, and they don't like it because they feel excluded. So they attack it. These very same people, if they were to go out and get a bike, i bet they'd love it and want to be part of it. But they are probably afraid of bikes. So again, they attack. Really what most of them want to do is get involved and feel part of something. They let fear control their lives. Don't hate them. Pitty them.

Isn't that to do with what Jeremy Clarkson once said about what he'd like to do to all bikers? It's hardly very clever - copying some smarmy arrogant bloke.

If you spot a sign like that, my advice is to take the precaution of wheelying in the 12 o'clock position, very quickly through their village Cool

sickening, slightly off topic but on the subject of protesters i saw an animal think the other day all of then werent like just normal people like bikers. They hated animal testing but none of them had come up with an alternative "better" way of getting around which would be much better than protesting.

This is the same, yea bikes are dangerous but things like that are sick and downright pointless Thumbs Down

I constantly see 'handmade' signs like that around my area.
Usually from those assholes selling Free Range Eggs, Horse Manure or Bedding Plants.
What's our country turning into?
A bloody Market Highway? Shocked
I blame the immigrant minorities.
