Well i had a problem with my engine not running at all well i got it started and it run fine until i dropped the revs below 6000rpm which is about half throttle, i was thinking maybe the throttle needle as this is what comes into use up to half throttle. Any help would be great

defo sounds like a carb problem, its not unknown for the needles on scooter carbs to get stuck. On most its a basic slide carb, the needles get stuck on the spring around them (or at least they have for me) though usually when they do they stick the throttle open. Id be checking your jets for a blockage if I were you, it can happen fairly easily with crap out of the fuel, especially when you have such small size jets.

good luck with it Thumbs Up

Blocked pilot jet(s) i'd say.

Remove your carb(s), get the float bowls off and revmove and clean all the jets.

Might be the exhaust, maybe needs de-coking, or even a small hole somewhere.

Getting mine checked over next week.

Could be the reeds playing up, dunno really, without more info. Could also be a sticky carb slide, OK on full throttle because the butterfly is open, flooding on part throttle because not enough air.

Cheers
