Ok folks this will get you thiking.

I need an oil-pump out of a small 4-stroke. Something like a 50cc or 125 possibly.

It must be physically as small (thin mainly) as possible. It must have a fully-separate housing from the engine casing, in other words if it's removed from the bike it must still work as a pump, but I don't mind making a backplate for it. It should ideally also normally run at crank speed or higher.

Any ideas?

Hmm good lateral thinking, but this must be an engine-oil pump.

What you lubing?

Would a 2-smoke autolube pump not do it? or would it not have a high enough throughput? Early suzuki ones run at the same rev speed as the rev counter cable.

I've seen a scotoiler used to lube the bearings in the supercharger on a top-fuel drag bike.

These are very good if you can work out how to fit it in your application:

How about a seperate oil pump from an older British bike. Such as a Vincent one? Think there are modern replacements available.

All the best

I like the look of that Morgo unit, seems perfect but there's no indication on price or dimensions at first glance. It also quotes scavenge in the text which is what I want it for - to scavenge oil from my turbo.

Keith my mate has a couple of old triumph pumps but I didn't want something that I migh have trouble replacing/servicing.

There is a very nice bespoke pump I could egt from the states that is 100% specific to my bike model ad the application for around a couple of hundred quid plus shipping. I just had the idea I might be able to manufacture something, since I've made everything else so far.
