Decided to clean inside the bike as best as I can after watching the videos posted on here.
Took 4 hours to clean the parts, wash/poslish bike. - Still got the wheels to go yet
WD40 Is your friend, - with GUNK
Its not perfect but the ammount of crud/oil was bad. 10 year old bike.
Still bits to do but thats enough for one day |

For the age of the bike there wasnt a serious amount of gunk like the CBR? in the video.
But im glad too, would of taken longer |

Very good job, well done getting behind the shock, always find that a bugger to do without removing the wheel.
I gave mine a go just after watching the vid but the crap on my bike has been on it for probably years now, tried paraffin & WD40 but it wouldn't budge. So i took it to the power jet down at the garage with a bottle or Paraffin & it still didn't come off. |
