pull the lever back slightly and tie it in place with a bit of string. or a shoelace. leave it for a while, and the bubbles will rise up out of the line into the master cylinder, and the fluid from the master cylinder will fill the line.
the method that i use is to use distilled water bottle from a chemistry lab, tho any squeezy bottole will do. get some 6mm rubber or plastic tubing, and attach one end to the squeezy bottle, making sure its a good seal. squeeza the bottle closed, attach the other end to the open bleed nipple, and you have a vacuum pump. leave it for 5 mins, then close the nipple, disconnect the bottle, squeeze it again, and repeat the process. eventually you'll get some brake fluid and lots of bubbles going into the bottle.
oh yeh. hang the bottle over the handlebar or summat, so that the brake fluid in the pipe stops bubbles getting back in. |

Hi
Cable tie the brake lever back the the handlebar overnight. Can work.
Another trick is to leave the bike to stand for a while, put some cloth around the top banjo bolt, pull the lever and the crack off the top banjo bolt and tighten it again
You can try using asyringe to push the fluid up from the bottom. I have a small vacuum bleeding kit that works quite well
All the best

and all these tricks should give me a nice tight brake.
not the spongy one i have at the moment
the only thing i have at the moment is like a pice of rubber
with the slit in the end to stop air getting back into the caliper.
i mean its been working but its not tight enough. ____________________ Regards
